What Are Gears?

The essential role of the gears is to allow the camshaft and crankshaft to turn the timing chain. The structure of a cam gear consists of teethed sockets throughout the gear’s surface. It can get connected by either belts or chains. That leads to a variety of sizes, shapes and purposes for the gears.

In order to adjust the timing belt, you will need to loosen the gear first. This will enable you to place the engine correctly and evenly distribute the tension on the timing belt from the start.
